Two-Night Stay at Quail Ridge Field Station
Director of the UC Davis Lassen Field Station, Dr. Gary Bucciarelli, will lead a natural history excursion at the Quail Ridge Field Station, located on the peninsula of Lake Berryessa, about a 15 minute drive from the town of Winters and numerous wineries in the Napa region. A party of two to four (2-4) individuals will be provided lodging on the 2,500+ acre site for two days and one night (options include outdoor glamping or inside residential bedrooms). Guests arrive mid-afternoon on day one, explore Winters and take dinner in town or cook at the field station. On day two, Gary will lead a four to six (4-6) hour hike and/or Gator tour of Quail Ridge focused on amphibian and reptile natural history with a break for lunch in the mountains.
