Peak Experience Auction is Lassen Park Foundation’s premier fundraiser throughout the year.  This year’s theme is:

Winter Wonderland Rebirth

This year's "Winter Wonderland" theme was originally intended to focus on winter fun to be had in the park. Think skiing, sledding, snowshoeing, and clip boarding! Hot cocoa, cold nights, clear mornings with crystal blue skies and pristine white powder. However, since the Dixie Fire began raging through Lassen Volcanic National Park in August, we decided to change our focus. Instead of "Winter Wonderland" we're now using the theme of "Winter Rebirth".  

This winter represents a much needed reprieve from the hot and dry summer that led to the devastation of the Dixie Fire. Our region looks forward to beginning the recovery effort after the Dixie Fire has ended.  With the first snow falls of winter this year, we'll be heading in that direction. This event will become a way for us to remember the beauty of the park, and look to the future including ways which we can help with that recovery and rebirth.

Guest Experience:

This year's virtual gala will focus on recovery from the Dixie Fire in Lassen Volcanic National Park.  We will be sharing stories of the park we love, hearing from park personnel, and looking to the future.  We hope you will join us for our livestream event on Saturday, November 13th, to celebrate this beautiful place.  As the snows fall and welcome in the winter season, please join us in a celebration of life and rebirth at Lassen Volcanic National Park. 

Watch Parties:

For our sponsors who wish to host a Watch Party during the livestream event on 9/13/21, we will be providing you with a box of goodies to share with your guests. This goody box will include some themed decorations to celebrate Winter Rebirth, a gift for each guest, and drink recipes for this year’s Signature Cocktail.  In addition to the goody box, we'll be providing you with to-go meals for your guests (one gift and to-go meal per admission included in your sponsorship level).
