Vintage Lassen Postcard Collection

This package includes five new vintage postcards of views from Lassen Volcanic National Park. The first set of three color postcards feature scenes from King's Creek Meadow, the Devastated Area, and Hot Rock (circa 1940). The fourth is a black and white postcard featuring the famous view of Lassen Peak from Manzanita Lake (print published by Burdell for W. M. Smith of San Francisco, Ca. The fifth and final is a black and white postcard featuring the view of Mt. Shasta from the top of Lassen Peak.

The Adopt-A-Pika program was created by the Lassen Association, our sister nonprofit, in support of Pika research at Lassen Volcanic National Park. Framed Yellowstone Poster & Recognition Plaque

The framed award titled “Friend of The National Parks” was made for selected members of the 105th Congress by the National Parks and Conservation Association (NPCA).  For a number of years the NPCA provided special recognition to Members of Congress who demonstrated significant legislative support to the National Park Service.  For the 105th Congress (first session 1977) the presentation consisted of a reproduction of an historic Yellowstone National Park poster from the 1930’s.  The framed poster with presentation plaque measures 19 x 26 inches.
