Relax in this two night stay in a stunning 5-bedroom and 4-bathroom house near Lassen Volcanic National Park. In the heart of some of the most gorgeous, unspoiled hiking and fishing country in California, this house sits on 20 acres.

Jackalope Acres isn't just a place to stay - it's a place to create memories! The custom Alaskan cedar hot tub, sunken into the large wrap around deck, is the perfect place to start the day watching the song birds and hummingbirds at the feeders or end it with a cocktail or a glass of wine. Bedrooms include two master suites, one in the main house, the second in the gorgeous open loft, and each with individual attached baths. Perfect for 5 individuals or 5 couples, but with additional futon sofas in master suites, house can sleep 17. Caretaker and cleaning service is available in the neighborhood.

Devil's Kitchen Stamp

This stamp set was published by the Flying A Gasoline Company (aka The Tidewater Oil Company) in the late 1930's to promote travel in the U.S. during the Pre-World War II years. This stamp features Devil's Kitchen in Lassen Volcanic National Park, circa 1937. Originally, there were 200 different stamps (#1 - #200) in the "Let's Get Associated, Flying A Gas & Oil" set.

Devi's Kitchen is Lassen's second largest hydrothermal area. In contrast with surrounding Warner Valley meadows and forest, Devil's Kitchen features crackled yellow and red mounds of earth where steam whirls from fiery cracks in the ground, sounds of plopping, hissing and belching fill your ears and the smell of "something" cooking lingers in the air.

In addition to the Devil's Kitchen Stamp, receive a bottle of Peak Petite Sirah.
